About
Statement
These artworks are about the perception of color. The intent is simply to blend colors and to observe the effect of various combinations. The purpose is to invite meditation and contemplation, and perhaps elicit emotion. Each group of compositions was created en masse using a systematic process, not unlike the rules in a game.
Bio
Hi, my name's Jon Krauss. Thanks for visiting. I've been working on this color series since 1997 in one form or another. I studied art at The Evergreen State College, Whitman College, and Humboldt University in Berlin. I'm a professional graphic designer & web developer.
